Role Overview
As an Employability Support Volunteer, you will support individuals in their journey towards employment. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about helping others, developing their skills, and contributing to community impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients with CV writing, cover letters, and job applications.
- Help individuals prepare for interviews and build their confidence.
- Provide guidance on career pathways, training, and opportunities.
- Signpost individuals to additional support services where needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of support provided.
Skills & Experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to encourage and motivate others.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence in using IT for job searches, applications, and CV formatting.
- Previous experience in employability, HR, education, or customer support is helpful but not essential — training will be provided.
